Houston Livestock show and Rodeo - March 8, 2010 (22)
Me and Mom went and enjoyed the Houston Livestock show on Monday. The weather was bad and we left before the carnival was open. We still enjoyed ourselves, however. -
XWO Reborn at Webster Funcity Sk8 (3)
I picked up my friend Jody and her 3 sons and took them to their first ever wrestling event only to find out once we got there that the show had been cancelled. The sign on the door said to check the website, and even NOW the site hasn't been updated. XWO screwed up royally and will be getting a tongue lashing on my next podcast! -
Old Town Spring SpringFest Texas Wine and Art Festival - March 7, 2010 (15)
I met up with my friend Valarie and her friend Maureen and my friend Lorraine met up with us all for some wine and art fun in Old Town Spring. It's right around the corner from me, so it's good to have people come visit my neck of the woods. I don't know the difference between good wine or bad wine, but I had fun. -
Texas All-Star Wrestling's Scar Wars - March 6, 2010 (15)
This was a decent show, from what I could tell. The lighting SUCKS really bad at this new location and I might have to stop going if I can't even see what the hell is going on. I only got a few pictures that didn't TOTALLY suck and my friend Amber got one good one that she was good enough to share. -
Sherwood Forest Faire - March 6, 2010 (24)
I went with my friend Lorraine just East of Austin to the new Ren Faire called Sherwood Forest Faire. It's their first year and they could use some improvement, but we still had a good time and enjoyed ourselves. -
IWE - Quest for the Golden Scepter - February 20, 2010 (36)
So I went to what might be my last IWE show this past Saturday to see all of my favorite guys wrestle. As always, it was a good show with lots of fun. -
Victory Crown Championship Wrestling - February 19, 2010 in Fort Worth (51)
Last Friday I drove up to Fort Worth to see the VCCW show at the Ridglea Theater. This is only their 3rd show, and you wouldn't know it because it was an awesome event from start to finish. If you are in the area, make sure to check them out. -
Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Ash Wednesday at Tabasco (55)
I took a solo trip to New Orleans for the Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras celebrations. On the way back, I stopped by the Tabasco factory. Here are some of the photos that I'd like to share with you. -
TASW Break it Off - February 13, 2010 (43)
Texas All-Star Wrestling presented Break it Off to a smaller than normal crowd, which made some of the crowd rule enforcement kind of lame. Ah, well. The show was entertaining and my friend Melanie enjoyed herself. -
WOW/NWA-SW Valentine's Vengeance February 12, 2010 (54)
This set is from WOW's February show which saw one title change and a few surprises. -
New Orleans Super Bowl Weekend February 5-7, 2010 (40)
I went to New Orleans the weekend of the Super Bowl in which the Saints beat the Colts down in Miami. We didn't stay for the game, but we had fun with all of the partying and Mardi Gras excitement. I'm going back for Lundi Gras and actual Mardi Gras, so look back for more pictures from that. -
IWE - A Wrestling Odyssey - January 23, 2010 (63)
The first IWE show of 2010 was great, as usual. I went by myself to this one, but I still had fun with my camera and dry erase board. -
Texas All-Star Wrestling's 17th Annual Humble Rumble - January 16, 2010 (20)
So I went to the 17th Humble Rumble at TASW's new home, The Magnolia Ballroom. I arrived as the first match started, so I couldn't get a good seat and the lighting was really bad for a wrestling event. I did take more pictures, but they came out even worse than the ones I'm posting here. For future reference, The Magnolia Ballroom is BYOB, so bringing my own beer should make the really high ticket price worth it next time. -
Food from mini road trip (6)
I'm fat and like food. I especially like food that I can't get here in Houston because I like to spice it up a little. Here are a few things I had. -
Victoria Crown Championship Wrestling - Ft. Worth - January 15, 2010 (64)
So I drove up to Ft. Worth to see the VCCW show and to check out how they do things up in Baja Oklahoma. For it being only their third ever show, it was really good. Much better than some of the shows I've gone to that have been doing things for YEARS. They had the Dallas Derby Devils in attendance and they closed out the show with a band called Garbage Truck. At the end of the set, you'll see their pictures. They had a pregnant woman dancing on stage and making out with drunk women in the crowd. Classy. -
Cowboys Stadium visit 01-16-10 (24)
I hate Dallas and the Cowboys. I went up there for some wrestling and decided to visit Jerry World to see what the hype is about. -
WOW/NWA-SW - January 8, 2010 (40)
Blue Demon, Jr. - NWA World Heavyweight Champion headlined what was kind of a let down of a show. It was a shame because he was a very nice guy and gracious and signed FREE autographs and took FREE pictures with anyone and everyone. That's much better than some of their so-called "superstars". -
American Hockey League - Houston Aeros vs Abbortsford Heat - Jan. 3, 2010 (20)
The other day I saw the Houston Aeros (Minnesota Wild affiliate) lose to the Abbortsford Heat (Calgary Flames affiliate) in OT by a score of 4-3. I took my parents and got free tickets from friends Jenn, Kat and Andy. Thanks, guys! -
IWE - Zero Hour - December 19, 2009 (43)
The last IWE show of 2009 was a great success and signaled in a new start for IWE. The Crusaders won the Tag Team Gauntlet and Mysterious Q won a 4-Way Battle to become the new IWE World Heavyweight Champion! -
WOW/NWA-SW December 11, 2009 (44)
December's World of Wrestling show was a decent one, and looks to get even better in the future thanks to some help from some of the Anarchy Championship Wrestling crew. Look for more talent exchange and big things coming up! In the meantime, enjoy my photos ranging from jobbers, homeless looking dudes, female wrestlers, fat dudes in small tights, and even a Royal Rumble! Oh, did I mention there was a little person? THERE WAS! -
Flying Saucer after WWE tapings, December 8, 2009 (3)
I invited people via twitter.com/HoustonWrasslin to join me and my friend Drew at the Flying Saucer after the WWE tapings. No one took me up on the offer, but that's OK. We had fun waiting for traffic to die down and hanging with some pretty ladies. -
WWE Smackdown - Toyota Center, Houston, Texas - December 8, 2009 (65)
Here are my pictures from the Smackdown taping in Houston on December 8, 2009 leading up to the TLC Pay-Per-View the following Sunday. -

IWE November 14, 2009 (37)
My friend William and I went to the IWE show and saw some fun, entertaining wrestling and then bought some fun stuff in the flea market! -
WOW/NWA-SW November 13, 2009 (25)
The monthly wrestling show at the Cypress VFW Hall was another great one, especially thanks to Paul Griffin, Monica and their friends. We marked out like no others and saw some good wrestling action. -
Texas Renaissance Festival - Halloween 2009 (21)
I spent my Halloween at the Texas Ren Fest with some friends and enjoyed several amazing acts. Among those in this gallery are Cast in Bronze and Tartanic. I highly recommend you check them out. -
Wurstfest - October 30, 2009 (22)
Wurstfest is a 10 Day Salute to Sausage that's held every year in New Braunfels, Texas. It's a LITERAL Sausage Fest! It's also very heavy on beer, polka, silly hats, and super fun times. -
Anarchy Championship Wrestling - October 18, 2009 (85)
ACW's Nightmare on 10th Street in Austin on October 18th was one hell of a time. There was almost 5 hours of wrestling action in an intimate and unique setting that couldn't have been better. It was good to see new wrestlers that I wasn't familiar with along with legend Jerry Lynn and Shimmer Women Athlete Tag Team Champions, The Canadian Ninjas. -
Houston Aeros vs Texas Stars - October 10, 2009 (11)
For my Dad's birthday, my mom and I took my Dad to the second home game of the 2009-2010 Houston Aeros hockey season. We left early, but the Aeros beat the Texas Stars 2-1 in a shoot-out. Here are a few photos of the action that we caught. -
Texas All-Star Wrestling - August 8, 2009 (38)
I took my friend Lisa to see TASW in Humble. I always love taking people to their first wrestling events. Too bad she had to go to this one. Davey Richards from Ring of Honor is the only reason I went, and he could be only as good as his opponent. -
Coastal Wrestling Federation - July 25, 2009 (51)
Coastal Chaos II featured WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware, Granddaughter of Fritz and daughter of Kerry Von Erich, Lacey, and the world traveled former Women's Extreme Wrestling Champion and Shimmer Women's Athlete, Simply Lucius. -
Sexy Steve DeMarco's Independent Wrestling Entertainment - July 18, 2009 (45)
The closest wrestling to where I live is now going down at the Armadillo Flea Market (formally Garden Ridge Pottery) on Airtex @ I-45 here in North Houston. Much of the talent were pulled just a couple of days before this event by a rival promoter, so listen to the next episode of Talkin' Wrasslin' for the run down on what's going on. In the meantime, enjoy the photos from this awesome event and go with me and have fun just like my friends Jason and his son Dylan did! -
Booker T's Pro Wrestling Alliance - July 11, 2009 (51)
I went solo down to Pasadena to check out Booker T's wrestling show at the Pasadena Convention Center. Booker T and Rhino took on Cute Kip aka Kip James aka Billy Gunn aka Mr. Ass and Bret Idol, The PWA Ironman, Women's, Heavyweight and Tag Titles were all on the line, as well. -
Tugboat Taylor's World of Wrestling/NWA-SW - July 10, 2009 (71)
My mom and my hetero life mate Russ went with me to see some wrasslin' at the VFW Hall in Cypress on July 10, 2009. Every belt was on the line and a few changed hands. I'll give a full re-cap on the next Talkin' Wrasslin'! -
Inner Space Caverns (57)
Right around the corner from my cousin's place in Georgetown are some underground caves that you can pay to get a guided tour through. I've never been to such a thing, so it was kind of neat to check out even though the trail was steep and slippery. Does any body have any questions? Does any body have any questions? Does any body have any questions? This is what total darkness looks like (except for the glow in the dark skull t-shirt worn by that meth-head over there). -
Round Rock Express vs. New Orleans Zephyrs - June 20, 2009 (13)
My cousin Erik and I went to see the Astros' AAA team take on the Nationals' AAA team from NOLA. It was 0-0 at the end of the 9th and we didn't stick around to see who actually won. -
Anarchy Championship Wrestling - American Joshi Queen of Queens Tournament (73)
Me and my friend Drolley went to The Venue in San Antonio to see ACW's American Joshi Queen of Queens Tournament. I had front row seats and I couldn't have gotten better pictures if I were in the ring! -
2009 Art Car Parade - May 9, 2009 (25)
I went to this year's Art Car Parade and took a few photos to share with my visitors. Let me know what you think! -
Houston Astros vs Milwaukee Brewers April 24, 2009 (63)
Here are my photos from a baseball game.
